And just like that...we are nearly done! It's hard to believe that we close on Tuesday. Our carpet is in and the house is covered in blue tape. Our PM must have a good eye for details because he marked just about every paint splatter, nail pop, etc. to be fixed before our walk through on Tuesday. After we put the kids to bed last night, we left them with my parents and went over the house for about an hour. We took off our shoes, walked all around the place, and just took it all in. It was amazing to stand there and enjoy the beauty and all the hard work we have done to get to this point. So excited to be able to spend the holidays in it.

This and that
Details are coming along!! And the bigger news??? They are starting to work in our road so we don't ruin our car on the pot holes and excessive nails!! Ahhhh...such a luxury! (Seriously... It should have been done a long time ago)

Let there be light!!
Electricity isn't turned on yet but our light fixtures are in and so are door fixtures. Our condensers are in the right place (did I mention they installed them incorrectly AND removed a brick from our foundation to do so?) and our irrigation system and front lamp post have also been out in. Closing two weeks from today!!!! :)

Bonus!
So, with me... It's the little things. Just as toilet flushers that don't match faucet fixtures really tick me off, the smallest extra touches can really make my day.
Thus, I was tickled pink to find out the shelves in the kitchen pull out! And earlier in the build, our PM made sure I could turn our flood lights on and off from our bedroom ( in addition to the switch downstairs.) Love it.

Details, details
More " fun stuff " is being put in.... Sinks, finishing touches on the tile, our tankless water heater, dishwasher, etc. Our toilets are in, too. Is it strange that I am completely annoyed that our "flushers" are chrome and don't match our oil rubbed bronze fixtures? It's weird what building a house makes you care about. I have already found new ones on Amazon to switch them out with. :)
Close up of fixtures
Tile in master bath is done
Third floor guest bath
Water heater
Powder room sink (hardwood is already in in this room)
Sink and dishwasher. Disposal is in, too.
Thermostats are in
